Quotes, scope changes, and invoices

Keep the agreed work and its financial record aligned.

A clear quote starts with a clear request

Describe the work, destination, timing, and quantities. Review what is included, what is excluded, and whether a price is fixed, per unit, or subject to a formal quote. A chat estimate is not necessarily the final amount in the booking.

Agree before changing the work

Use the supported quote or change-order workflow when the scope changes. Review the revised amount and approval status before doing additional work.

  1. Check the original scope and price.
  2. Describe the proposed change and its cost.
  3. Obtain the approval requested by the workflow.
  4. Keep the updated record with the job.
  5. Review the final invoice against the agreed work and payment record.

Invoice versus receipt

An invoice requests or records an amount due. A receipt records a transaction that the platform has recognized. An invoice marked sent does not itself prove that the customer paid, and a document should be reconciled with the corresponding payment status.
