Keep selling when connectivity drops

Understand cached stock, queued sales, retries, and device safety.

Prepare while connected

Open the till online before relying on offline operation. The browser needs a saved shell and catalogue. Private browsing, storage restrictions, a new device, or cleared browser data can prevent offline storage.

A queued sale is awaiting synchronization

Offline sales remain on the device until the server accepts them. Cached stock and prices are last-known information and can change elsewhere.

  1. Keep using the same account and store for pending work.
  2. Check the queue and retain the device.
  3. Reconnect and allow synchronization to complete.
  4. Review rejected entries instead of repeatedly retrying unchanged data.
  5. Confirm that the server recorded each sale before clearing browser storage.

Do not lose your outbox

Do not uninstall the browser, reset the device, or clear site data with pending sales. A rejected sale needs review. Switching accounts or branches must not move one shop's sales into another shop's records.
